    OP, you may remember me from another forum. I've been around a while, and you've certainly got under everyone's skin wherever you go.

    Let me clear some things up for you. If you have a 3.15 and an LSD, it's not modified. It just has an LSD installed. The LSD lockup from BMW is 25%, not 50%. You didn't dyno at 160hp and 250ft/lb with 7:1 compression. Your exhaust didn't add 20hp.

    Stop attacking people that actually know what they're talking about, STFU, and listen to what people are telling you. More importanly, stop LYING to people trying to try to impress them. We've all seen builds that are far, FAR more impressive than your stock rebuild of an e34 m20. You have no exotic parts, you don't have any original ideas that are even cenceptually feasible (3.3 liter m20? Do you have any idea what bore spacing is?) The only thing that makes your build any different than what goes on anywhere else any day of the week is that you think it's special, your car's a hooptie, and you've managed to take a car with more power and torque, blow it up, and put it back together with parts that make less power.

    For those reading at home, OP showed up at bf.c with a thread explaining how he wanted to build a 3.3 liter m20 with boost. He was asking where to buy titanium rods. It was explained to him in several different ways how he was doing it wrong, and ways he should invest his time and money better. He douched it up in short order, got laughed out, and that's why his build thread is here. Now you know why there's an e34 build on R3v.

    Before anyone gives me crap for signing up here just to troll out OP, I've got several real life homies on here, they may speak up to vouch for me, they may not. I do own a 91 318i, and I can't stand OP's whining anymore.

        ok, good. also, 91mm stroke with 86.4mm bore puts you right at 3.2L, FWIW

          binjammin frankly i posted here because i have the same engine that most of the folks here have. and frankly your only advice is engine swaps. go away grow up or die i don't care just leave me alone

          oh and btw it is possible to mod a factory lsd to be 50%lsd as opposed to factory 25% if you truly knew everything you would know that

          your sh@t stinks get over it and die

              so i'm off to the junkyard i have a resistor to go hunt. die resistor die lol resistance is futile lol this is funny considering a current situation with a friends e34 blower motor only working on high. i shall hunt the resistor.

                in january i am turboing my car this is not a question merely a statement. i am buying all of the following items and have prices for all of them but i want to know if anyone has used the ebay turbo manifolds or if any of you can make one (i don't have a pipe bender and the shop won't let me use theirs or make one for me) oh and i am lazy in reguards to building one. so my budget for one is $200 any one got some advice?

                here is the list
                apexi select this is basically an apexi afc-II but for european models
                turbo ar .70
                tial wastgate
                greddy intercooler
                intercooler piping kit
                miller performance map conversion w/war chip
                wideband 02 setup
                blowoff valve
                stainless steel oil line kit
                boost controller w/ gauge greddy
                oil cooler
                oil pressure sensor w/ gauge
                oil catch can greddy
                oil return fitting
                pillar pod gauge console
                walbro 255
                if necessary a t3-t4 adapter
                oil sandwich plate i won't be doing a whole lot of drill and tapping thanks to this guy
                slimline electric fans - the fan clutch is being deleted in lue of intercooler and slim fans
                aeromotive fuel pressure regulator

                  i never said math was wrong but it can be misleading
                  for instance we'll take 2 engines of similar horsepower and displacement work them out and for fun i'll use v8's (i despise v8's even bmw v8's)

                  bmw The S62 engine produces 294 kW (400 PS; 394 hp) at 6600 rpm and 500 N·m (369 lb·ft) of torque at 3800 rpm

                  Mustang GT's 5.0 power was 260-hp (194 kW) at 5250 rpm and 302 ft·lbf (409 N•m) of torque at 4000 rpm

                  so here we go bmw first(naturally)
                  HP = torque*RPMS/5252
                  hp = (369*3800/5252)
                  266.98400609291698400609291698401 rounding down = 266.98 hp @ 3800 rpm

                  now ford 5.0[coughs peice of sh@t]
                  HP = torque*RPMS/5252
                  hp = (302*4000/5252)
                  230.00761614623000761614623000762 rounding down 230.00 hp@ 4000 rpm

                  even at relatively close rpms the toque is worlds apart and frankly so are the horsepowers.

                  you're right math is a constant it never changes but it can be misleading

                  for instance look at a super high revving suzuki hyabusa engine and compare that to a caterpillar diesel. work the math out however you want math is decieving you

                  on chevy and ford v8's it's fine-sort of but don't argue the power of an inline 6 look at a whole bunch of dyno sheets of a 4 cylinder a 6 cylinder gas and diesel and v8 diesel and gas and inline 8 v10 v12 v16 and w12

                  they all are different and some of them worlds apart different furthermore look at forced induction dynoed versions of the same then come back with another inconceived argument.
                  dude I can wikipedia model specs also, I am seriously not hating on you.
                  I just have some questions concerning your numbers and want the numbers from your car to back up what your saying. It's that simple, since you have access to a dyno. Let see some read outs...
                  To be honest I subscribed because I actually want to see what the end game is for 'natalie'...it used to 'nate' ;)
                  As far as I am concerned until I see more than silly donuts in a parking lot, you have a neutered 5 series, with a leaky transmission and your up in arms because of critique of your 5 series on an 3 series site.

                                Hey homie. What's going on? You ever get your adapter board fixed up?

                                OP, you're full of shit. I've been inside e34 and e30 diffs, and know exactly how they get modded for more lockup. You don't. Stop lying.

                                You're 100% full of shit, and EVERYONE knows it. You're like the kid at the party that's having a good time, but never notices that nobody wants to be around you. I've built and worked on cars that have more serious hardware than you'll ever see in your life. Well.... except for the stuff you see online and in magazines, and then lie and tell everyone you have in your car.

                                Let me relay a little story. In high school I knew this kid Pete. Pete had a Mustang LX. It was either a v6 or a 4 cylinder, I forget which, but it had a single exhaust. He wanted people to like him so he went to the local auto parts place and bought a 12" length of pipe and *DUCT TAPED* it under his rear bumper. He then went around bragging about it to anyone that would listen. It lasted about 5 hours during school before someone went outside during lunch and looked under the car to see the truth. I always felt bad for Pete, and the ridicule he was subjected to because of that stunt. He brought it all on himself however, and if he had spent real time doing real work on his car he would have earned real respect. You have not earned respect, only derision. You're the worst kind of braggart about the poorest type of work.

                                I also know you're full of shit about r3v being a better place for your shit, because I saw all the other threads you posted on bf.c in the e30 section there, where you were immediately told to shut your fucking mouth, stick your tail in your ass, and go home.

                                I'm not going to leave you alone. Get used to me pointing out your failings, you're chock full of them.
