*edit*
I am dumber for actually posting in this thread. I am getting out while I can still tie my own shoe-laces together and speak to women, unlike the OP.Last edited by Iain; 02-15-2010, 12:34 AM.Pork Hunt Motorsport

Just needs the right tuning and boost to get that power.
the way my setup it the tps is by the radiator how was yours by the firewall? i thought these throttlebodies were the same what year were yours? can you clarify the rr in rrfpr i assume this is a kind of Fuel Pressure Regulator? was the motronic 1.3 a stock ecu? how did you monitor the air input?
i am pretty sure that the sensor on the throttlebodies is a throttle position sensor and not a switch do you know for sure? i can take pics if it helps you.

I modified them to have the TPS by the firewall. Easier and cleaner looking IMO. I modified the pivot rod for the throttles to go into the stock TPS and mounted it on that side. RRFPR is Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator. Fuel pressure goes up when vacuum goes down. Motronic 1.3 is the stock ECU and harness from the latest model e30 325i. I monitored air input with a GM Map sensor with some trick electrical stuff, that George Graves made me, in the harness to use the stock ECU. It worked very well. I had a built 2.8L M20 with a 288 Shrick cam with that setup that put down 215hp at the wheels.RIP e30 (brilliantrot '91 325i) 11/17/06 Byebye: 8/21/07

well i just ordered the last of the parts for this setup (hopefully cause fittings are expensive) i have to go to lowes tomorrow and pick up some round stock so i can make my vacume rail and fuel pressure regulator adaptor (honestly at this point it might just have been cheaper to order the nuke rail but the rest of the system won't support it so oh well) in any case the parts are ordered, and i'll have pics when they get here, believe me i cannot wait. oh and if anyones offended by my exhaust now just wait til you see what i got coming lol it's going to be insane i had no idea that anyone made something like this. lol

Are you fucking serious?
You're building a boosted M20 with ITB's, you're a supposed fucking engineer, and you don't know what a RRFPR is?
Wow.
Fucking wow.
I nominate this thread of the decade right here...sigpic

its multi throttle intake, dont know why he calls it that when each cylinder has its own throttle body, making them individual throttle bodies aka ITBsYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

the main difference between MTI and ITB is a plenum in which or before which airflow is monitored, thats about it, ITB can have a plenum but not air monitoring in the plenum. thats the key - where the sensor is

So... You're finally admitting they're the exact same thing, it just depends where you tap for a sensor?...
