looking back i actually wrote that wrong. my thought was to use the grinder on the harmonic balancer but i changed my mind. as you can see i didn't actually do it. but wow did it create a stir

no, that's an absolutely true statement. Grinder is the worst way possible, even with a way to measure runout. You do realize that if it's not perfectly round and it's rotating at 7500rpm you will vibrate your engine apart, right? Of course you don't, you wanted to use a fucking angle grinder.
