Its all dented up and rust spots all over. Im prolly just going to fill all the dents and satin red it. Ill be driving in the DC metro area, so i dont want to spend a ton of time or money on fixing up the paint job.

I put the wheels on and bled the brakes. I used ATE blue fluid and it didnt mix well with the old fluid. I can see the seperated fluids on the top. I think ill have to (somehow) suck the reservoir dry and flush it again with yellow. I am in serious need of specialty tools atm. I think ill end up using a turkey baster.

I took it for a ride up and down the street man it feels good when you get nice new brakes on. I didnt end up putting the SS lines because i want them for my 2 door and im aready getting poor.

I doubt i will get carried away with this one, my two door will be another story. :)

I put on some 17" today i got with my other car. I need to drop it bad! I think ill be buying springs tomorrow.

That fan is going to go through your hood, its prolly worth just leaving it off. How long have you been in waldorf? What base are you at, andrews, pax river, bolling?

I might have an extra fan clutch laying around. You should check out the mid atlantic section for this area, we've had some decent meets, and should have more in time.

The wheels came with my other car with near new potenza tires. The old tires on the bottlecaps were dry rotted and low tread. I like how they look considering once i drop it should look much better. IE stage 3's are on there way.

The front valance brackets are all broken. The previous owner had it zip tied on, im working on repairing them hence "PROJECT"

I have a newer clutch on my coupe i just need to get around to taking it off.

There is a reason the fan has a clutch. At least get a junkyard clutch, don't ghetto-rig the car.

what exactly is that reason then? Old cars just had stamped steel blades bolted onto the front of the water pump. The only thing im missing out on is a fraction of power at high rpms when my engine is cold. When the engine is hot the fan cutch is engaged and spins at the same speed as if it was solid. Enough about the stupid fan clutch its my beater.

Its your hood/coolant hoses/radiator that will probably suffer the consequences if you spin that fan all the way up to the eta's mighty 5k rpm. Maybe it'll last for a while, but its just not worth taking the risk.

                          update!

So this week I finally stopped being lazy on my DD. I put in an ebay chip, K&N filter, and homemade 2.5" exhaust. Total cost under $100 :)

For the exhaust I used a SS rolled end tip with a used side in center out maglaflow muffler. For the bends near the diff i cut up a mandrel bent 2.5" L bend. I went right upto the cat with 2.5" i plan to put in a high flow cat next. My dumb ass decided to tack the tip on first. The tip is not straight as i wanted once i hung it up. Next time ill build it front to back.

For the intake i just bought a K&N and some (too thin) aluminum flashing for an airbox. I also went and ported out the slits on my euro grills to allow more flow into the airbox.

Between the chip, exhaust and K&N its a huge difference. I love driving this car now :)

I also put IE III springs for ride height a while back.

As you can see my diff is leaking on the passenger side. Im debating putting an LSD i have, or just replacing the seal.
