Well, got a bit of the body straightened out. Still on the fence with the motor, but here's a bit of the body work in process...

    Before...

    A bit of after...

The above is a fixed dent from a stray trailer hitch with a Tahoe attached...

Fairly large dent fixed and primed...

    Guide coat...

(Excuse the terrible lighting... it's actually painted in drab olive green in the above photo)

Here's the ONLY rust on the car...

Will get some more, slightly less dusty photo's tomorrow along with some full front end pictures.

Still debating on S50 or M30 swaps. Sourced all my 2.7i pieces and parts to a buddy, so I'm in the market!

Just finished clearing out most of the 2.7i conversion bits and pieces I had laying around. I'm just not going to get the power out of a 2.7i for the cost as I can with an m30 or s5x. I'd rather save the money and go from there than dump a slightly (marginally) less amount into a 2.7i and still be mildly disappointed in the power results.

Thanks Brew! Still have to roll the fenders and all that jazz. The base coat and guide coats of primer help when blocking. I wont be putting a paint job on it until long after I finish the body work and engine swap, so I'm planning on drab olive green getting me through for awhile ;)

Good news is, I love the color on the car and it seems to hold up better than other "flat black" type paint jobs.
