    It's business time

    Here we go again.

Some of you may remember this:

    and this:

But it's time to start anew. I picked up a clean, 4 door, schwarz '88 325i from a guy in Cleveland, mostly because it was rust free (florida car) and close at the right time and exactly what I wanted. Basically every wear part has been replaced by him (another reason I bought it) Here's a pic from the PO:

I decided to pull the engine this weekend, which may have been a bad idea because the weather has been a balmy 9 degrees for the last few days, and my garage has no door.

Hopefully I can get it pulled tomorrow.

This thread will probably be updated slowly and without frequency, I'm not sure why I decided to start this project in this god-forsaken weather.

I called Anne and she said God has a plan for me.

EDIT: and now it has all those boxes in it that you left. Taking up my space.

That's alright, I was kidding of course.

When she told me about it she was like 'Oh, Andre left all these boxes in here' and then started talking about how you had parts in them or something. The way she made it sound I started to think you left a bunch of parts in there.

Then when I opened them expecting tons of euro goodies they were empty.

Got the m20 out by myself, which of course called for me hopping into the engine bay and lifting the tranny out. I then celebrating what a mountain of a man I was by roaring and beating on my chest. The neighbors were confused, scared, and inexplicably aroused.

The m20 leaves with a local guy on Thursday, which is when the real fun will start. And by real fun I mean it will sit there for weeks while until I feel like lugging the m30 up here to put in.

In the meantime I'm going to swap the db's out for plastics. More pics later.
