I got my odometer working for the first time since owning the car!! I've been through 3 clusters and replaced the SI batteries on one to get it going, but none had a working odometer. I put the mileage at 90k to match the approximate mileage of the S50. Mike rebuilds them with new gears. Highly recommended! Check out his work in this thread:

I've had the e30 m3 wire harness cover sitting around for almost a year. I went to install a strut bar and found that the e36 wire cover wasn't going to leave enough room. Soooo, time to do the e30 cover. It was a bit of a pain, but the results were very much worth the effort!

I'm very curious to hear whether you find that the strut bar has any appreciable difference in in the car's handling. I'm considering getting one myself.

Q: Whats wrong with this picture?


A: The paint on the hood is complete shit. I bought it with some clear coat fade and tried to remedy it with a home spray-paint job. It looked good for about a year then slowly faded to some real white trash looking crap. So, the other day I dropped the hood off at a local paint shop and drove hoodless for a day.



I picked it back up today and am super happy with it! I should have done it years ago.
