I am posting in here to say I had an epic weekend and am still hungover.
Metallica in a corporate box on Thurs night. Tried my best to empty the fridge but the bastards kept restocking it. Got home @ 3am after a late-night twisties run (in passenger seat of a mate's WRX - don't fret, no drink/driving)
Friday was spent enjoying a lot of sunshine until midday, when the girlfriend and I had some people come around and we drank. Got to bed at 3am again after x1 slab of beer and x1 bottle of Bundy Red rum gone. :(
Saturday morning was spent mowing the lawn in the brutal heat, before drinking heavily to mitigate the pounding hangover I had. Had a mate's birthday celebration at the big Leagues Club in Gosford. Got fucking blitzed beforehand, which is bad because we were at Teppenyaki, so a couple of us ended up throwing food back at the chef and generally causing a ruckus. Got home at some pre-dawn point and spent half of yesterday trying to sleep under my Subaru in the garage (nice and cool and QUIET on the concrete). Somehow was convinced to help a mate with a really nice YB Cossie-powered Mk1 Escort do some fiddling with his Haltech yesterday arvo and ended up drinking at his place.
I am in a world of pain right now at my desk. Blergh. Going home to drown my sorrows at that stupid German wookie winning F1 WDC and beating Webs. waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles.

we're still pokin our head out of the 10 year drought so some rain isn't a bad thing. The storms just piss me off, makes getting shit done hard when you have to scramble to get all the cars undercover / in the shed.

I'm loving the aussie dollar atm, kicking US dollars arse. Been buying up on parts for the race car. Have been tossing up a set of forged pistons but pretty sure I'm going to wait a lil longer on those. Subaru engine fail chewed up the money I had for those. Could do with some rain! Tanks less than 1/2 full.
Been about 6 weeks without anything but the most pathetic 1/2 day of drizzle. This is Auckland spring ffs.
Still, glad to be out of the shithole winter.
Daily 540s running a bit rough but the wifes 330 just keeps rocking along at 210000ks! Who'd have thought, a reliable modern BM.
Much wailing and gnashing of teeth over the amount of alcohol we drink (again) and the tax cuts/raises have kicked in.
So, nothin much.

currently the weather is being a right waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles. Iain will vouch for the shitty thunderstorms, hail and shit that was floating around earlier this week, now its gloriously sunny and stinking hot which makes working in the shed mighty uncomfortable.
Hopefully the sun stays around till after Sunday, dries to local dirt track out and I will go have a play in the e30!
Factor in piecing together a Legacy wagon only to have the WRX engine completely drop a piston a few days after getting rego and life is a little bit hetic for me.
