Nice. I know very little about GAZ stuff but I do recall them being with the likes of AST/JRZ/Ohlins etc.

I know very little about them as well but they were the only setup I could find that let me run a true rear coil over for less then $4k. I know there's a slim-to-none advantage to rear coilovers in the grand scheme of things but it was something I wanted to get sorted out for this car. We'll see how it goes!

For my own curiosity: why would you go true rear coil over if you didn't believe there were benefits? Are there other things? Are there small handling benefits? Launching benefits? Comfort?

Honestly, I've broken GC rear adjusters and I hate the fact the the springs fall out everytime you jack up the car. The GAZ setup I have now was affordable albeit perhaps a little stiff for the street. I'm going to run without a rear sway to get started and see how it is on the track/autoX and such.
