    Seems like something goes wrong everytime I turn around with this swap. Order alternator bolts ,get wrong ones, order them again, right size, way to long...Still wrong ones. Order new engine belt, doesn't fit. Way to long. Bought Getrag 260 trans, came with no linkage or bolts...can't find either to save my life. Install iX brake booster, find the threads are stripped in the MC. Get my flywheel back from machine shop, they half assed it and machined it crooked, and didnt even machine the front size after charging me top dollar price. Really gets old. Progress is being slowed way down due to all that. Anyway here's some pics.


    Engine bay is getting there. ten times cleaner than it was.

        Been a while since Ive posted pics so here it goes.



        Did the rear main seal, and didnt know there was a carrier gasket..made one of out felpro generic gasket paper



        Installed



        5 lb flywheel, balanced and resurfaced. Ended up taking it to a different machine shop after the first one on resurfaced (shitty job at that) after taking my money to have it lightened and the works. Fuck half ass people who will take your money and not do things correctly.



        Clutch installed.




        Where I stopped. Thats also the thrid trans Ive bought for this swap, the first two have been junk.



        Point in this post, if you're going to sell something or do a service for someone or anything making money off of someone else..Do it right. Dont fucking shit people, and dont do some half ass job thinking ahhh itll be alright. I've had it up to my nose with people like this, and it sickens me that so many people who are well known and liked do that kind of lowlife garbage. The e30 crowd didnt used to be this way...I could give so many more examples of people that are even members on here who have shit me during the process of this swap but I think this will do for now. This isnt the honda crowd, Dont fucking act like it. Gah </end rant>

              You have a weird getrag 260 then. Mine was plug and play, and I'm sure a lot of others would say the same. You sure you don't have it in wrong?

                The holes wouldn't be my fault as i pay a machine shop to stamp them out for me. All I do is weld and bend. If I would have known it, I wouldn't have sold it. If you would have contacted me from the get go when you noticed the problem I would have taken care of it. But since I didn't get a email. Pm. Message. Etc how so you expect me to fix something that I don't know about?

                  Ill cover somethiing I havent seen anyone else mention or show done with the iX booster install.

                  Heres a small problem...the hose lacks about 2 inches from reaching

                    You rant about people doing half-ass jobs and you don't spend $8 to buy new clutch softline? Especially when yours is frayed to hell?

                    It's not an issue with the ix booster, I've always just bought new line that was longer.....

                          My intake mani is just barely touching the booster even with all fins shaved. Not sure if it will be ok or not. And what are you guys using as a brake fluid resevoir?

                            Got some small progress done, Got mostly everything hooked up just still need to sort some wiring, some hoses, and a couple odds and ends. You also have to shim the drivers side engine mount to clear the break booster, I did about a 1/4 of a inch.

                              I attached the two loose black wires to hte 12v power block in the bay, I have 2 cut power wires comming out of the relay box but no sure where they go? e34 harness. Starter Clicks one firm time when the key is turned. Any ideas?
