Doesn't make sense. I asked why you went with an e34 version, when an e30 version fits perfectly.

this is an e34 hose, and they are the same area...

im going to trim it to make an L shape. i just bought this mainly cause it was like 4$ and its new :) mine has skotch tape around it now...(probably leaks lol or did)

Are 318is' and 325s heater hose areas the same? You shouldn't have to "trim" it to make it to work. The one I bought for my old car was a stock e30 piece and fitted perfectly from the firewall, to the M50 block.

powdercoat won't stick to JB weld.

Yes it will, there are 2 powder coat places I go to...they use JB weld to do bodywork on small pieces because its the only thing that holds up to the heat...

Knowing Matt he will says its powder coating when its paint. :)

Yes you can powdercoat mag. I remember the powdercoater i use telling me of an epoxy that would accept PC but i cant remember the name.
