    it's just a check valve, installed as part of a recall, that keeps hot coolant from spraying on your legs if the heater core bursts.

    I've talked to 5 - 6 different people that have done 24V swaps, not one of them said they used or were told to use this safety valve thing you're talking about, either.

    added the safety valve for coolant, which Janderson will be doing, As I instructed him...

    took e34 wire holder off, and wrapped the harness with tape, will use cloth tape on it tomorrow.

    Bondo on, sanding tomorrow, primer tomorrow. Pleased its been 60 degrees outside

    the safety valve protects your heater core from exploding, it was a BMW factory recall, my m42 had it,

    and the valve, is the intake boot hole to oil dipstick

    Matt why did you paint the master cyl? If you get so much as one drop of brake fluid on it that stuff will just melt off

    It would probably look just as nice if you cleaned it up a bit.

    There's a kid here that painted his E30 flat white, and after a couple of weeks, it looked like absolute shit, nothing that can be done about it.

    cut all brackets off in engine bay, will probably remove ABS, more insulation tomorrow


    I stripped 1 brake line, so Im going to get brake line tools as well
