    Ah sweet - apparently there are big gains to be had playing with cam timing (and cams themselves), intake and putting a proper ECU in there.

      Yup. All of the things I will look at once its engineered BUT
      As previoulsy mentioned, to keep engineer happy I had to run factory ECU, AFM, Throttle body, headers and cats. Lots of things I would like to do but things that would stop it being passed so at this stage the paln is to keep it simple, stock and get engineers over and done with.

                  The box is
                  First Gear: 3.287:1
                  Second Gear: 2.043:1
                  Third Gear: 1.394:1
                  Fourth Gear: 1.00:1
                  Reverse: -4.091:1

                  In that vid it had a 3.25 LSD but it was only a small case so now it has a medium case open 3.7.

                  I thought when I put the open 3.7 in it traction would be a problem. 1st will light the tyre pretty easy but once you are in second it just grips and heads off.

                  I have a diff pile between the 4 cars so will swap them around a bit.

                  Have some 4.27s (one I will lock for drag purposes), a 3.9 medium LSD, the 3.7, the 3.46 locker that was in it when it was M20 powered, a medium 2.9x out of an eta, and a few other random ones laying around.

                    Bumping this because this is really really really cool. 100lbs less than an S52, friend just showed me pics of his (hopefully) new bosses car, AE86 with a 1uzfe, weighs as much as the 4age it's replacing (edit: 90lbs more fully dressed and wet). Lighter that an F20C. I am going to try and get hard numbers soon.

                    What does your E30 weigh in at? Stripped interior, what else has changed?

                        Havent managed to get in on the scales but having owned the car for years before the conversion, it feels much the same handling wise. Hard to gauge due to power increase lol.

                        Car is currently in storage 450kms away after recently moving but had a drive last week and any thought I have had about selling it were gone in the first 50m.

                        My Dad is towing up the white stroker M50 from Melbourne at easter so I will be focusing on getting that finished but once the V8 is up here I will get it on some scales and update. 1100ish would be close

                          What shifter configuration did you use to put it in the right place? What was the biggest wiring hurdle?
                          Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

                                Shifter, i used the Toyota one. Where the hole was in the tunnel I cut out a rectangular piece leaving the original hole more to one end. Spun it 180 deg and welded it back in. Hope that makes sense. Had to stuff around with console but came out ok.





                                Will make a nicer boot and tidy it up some more but initially just want to get it all together and working,
