Thanks guys. I took apart what I could from the front end the other day. I noticed that the strut tower has moved back more than an inch and hit the fuse box. Looks like this is going to cost A LOT more than I thought. I'm not the type to throw away and start new, so eff it, I'm going to fix it.
No one is really parting out e30s here, but found someone parting out a E38. He said I can take the car (which has everything I need for the swap) for 1,500. I asked him what was wrong with it but he asked me to call. I'm in class right now, so I cant. I'll see whats up.
It was my birthday yesterday, and my dad thinks helping to pay for the repairs and parts for the e30 would be the best gift. :] Gotta call him back up and see what he thinks about the v8 swap.

Thats good, u got a parts list now all u need to do is find a donor car for parts. At least did u do more damage to the lexus than it did to ur e30? I've been in recks myself and I'm not going to say they were fun, I've killed the other participants jetta with a chevy tracker (I was rearended). I've been currently re-resurecting a escort, (hit mail box and went in ditch, car ran into me while i was digging out the escort in the snow. Cool part is its now my rally car.

I'm fine, just a swollen left hand because I just finished shifting gears when it happened.
I made a list of the stuff I need to get it going again:
Left side headlights
Grill
Front bumper
Both fenders
Radiator
Fan
Fan shroud
Lower hose
Ac fan
All belts
Alt. Bracket
P.s. Bracket
Abs bracket
Hood bracket
Hood
Radiator support
Corner light
Left parking light
Condenser
Electrical thing right of airbox?
I'm just glad its all front end damage because everything is replaceable. I just hope I can find a blue E30 in the yard. I can't afford to paint it. I know the guy I hit and he's been pretty cool (considering what happened) about it. We have no one to blame but the track staff really. They shouldn't have sent me into the track when someone was leaving. When you leave and enter you have to haul ass because its a constant live track.
I signed a bunch of waivers before the event, so I'm sure I can't get insurance or the people of the event to pay for it. You should've seen the Lexus!

Well the transmission is leaking from the selector shaft seal onto the cat. What a lovely smell.I bought a new one but it wouldn't fit, so I pulled one carefully from my other transmission. Of course, it's still leaking. I had to wait a day for the wrong one, and I don't have a full day to wait. My next drift event is at 6pm. :???:
Anyways, expect pictures and hopefully a video soon!

Got and installed the Walbro, Still with the same tank of gas I had at the event. Hasn't cut off yet!
It passed smog with flying colors thanks to that mopar intrusive rail/injector cleaner.
I'm going to go to the DMV today after class. Yeah I'm pretty crazy for going at 4pm. I'm thinking of getting a retro gundam inspired license plate. I can't wait to drive this every day! I'm getting real tired of avoiding bumps and potholes in the GTI.
