I had to do the thing that I really didnt want to have to do.
But I couldnt stand seeing the E30 sit there any longer. So I started removing bits of the supercharger stuff, and hooked all the stock intake stuff together.
I have a belt coming in tomorrow and I am trying to locate a set of S52 or M50 injectors to finish her up.
I am leaving the supercharger bracket on the engine to remind myself of what I used to have, and to motivate me to get it fixed and put back on.
Until that moment, its all going into a box labeled 'E30 Supercharger =(' and getting tucked somewhere in my room.
Still gonna mod it, and get it ready for loads of power. I also dont know what that for sale thread was about, shit came down real fast. But I have figured some stuff out, and I honestly dont think I could get rid of it.
Even though it wont be as interesting as before, stay tuned! My previous build (currently E30-less)

Underdrive pullies.
I noticed that my M3 has them, and the crankshaft position sensor is gone.
How does it work? I thought that was a very important signal for the ECU to have.
Would unplugging the battery fuck up something in the ECU and make the car feel like it had a dead cylinder? My previous build (currently E30-less)

I drove it for 500 miles, and turned it off and started it more than 50 times. Still the same problem.
Gonna contact AA who performed the tune ad see if I need to do something to reset the ecu since it was unplugged. My previous build (currently E30-less)

Well got it all put back together and started it up.
Now its throwing a 1223 code at me (coolant temp sensor) and it is idling weird and when I give it gas it sounds like it is misfiring, just like my M3.
It got too dark outside, so I am going to check all my wiring, and look at the sensor and hopefully find an easy solution to the problem. My previous build (currently E30-less)

My oh my.
I really wanted to be done with the guy who I sent my SC to. But he has left me no choice.
When you dont return pieces of the supercharger, thats one thing, and on top of that, when you send me back the wrong housing (with six gigantic cracks in it) saying that it needs to be replaced, thats an entirely different thing.
I even told him I took it apart and inspected it. He must be on crack to think that I didnt take pictures of my property.
If I cant resolve this between myself and him, lawsuit here I come!My previous build (currently E30-less)

It has been a while! Since I posted in this thread, and since I drove the car.
Ended up getting a new CTS and splicing in a fresh piece of wire and its all better. The E30 is back on the road.
I need to clean it, and clean out the trunk of all the SC parts. I was able to figure out the problem with the SC repair guy, and I am waiting for the correct housing to come back. After I get it I want to take it to a repair place here in San Diego and see what they can do. Hopefully it can go back on the car so I can feel the forced induction again.
Or maybe I can throw it on the M3, and turbo the E30............. who knows.
Since I have been driving the M3 around, and since it has a stock amp powering all the speakers, and the voice can get incredibly loud and crisp, it really makes me disappointed in the E30's lack of sound.
I am also starting to think about how far I want to take the E30. Should it get a cage? Should I put it on a crazy diet? Is it really going to become a "race car?" Or should I keep it semi DDable?
So I am thinking a trip to Frys electronics or Best buy is necessary to pick up an amp and a few new speakers to resolve the issue.
But I also need new headlights for the M3, and I think being able to see is more important than sound.
Choices, choices. My previous build (currently E30-less)

This M3 has been the biggest headache of a car that I have ever had to deal with.
I finally fixed a slow coolant leak that made me add coolant every week or so.
And now all of a sudden, after washing it and making it look all pretty I drive it back to the barracks and watch in horror as the temp rockets to the three quarter line on the dash, and to 250 degrees (hot!!!) on the secondary temp sensor I have that reads temp right outside of the thermostat on the housing.
Plenty of coolant and the belt is still there. I am thinking either stuck thermostat, which doesnt seem plausible, because it was installed A MONTH AGO! Or, worse, a failed waterpump. About to do research.
Dont let the pic fool you, this car is a high maintenance bitch. I curse the PO for ignoring so much maintenance.
On the other, and much happier hand, the E30 is running superchargerless, flawlessly. It has been raining here so I have been enjoying spinning the tires in huge parking lots to really enjoy what I have. At least I have the E30 (which I swear will never leave me stranded) is in great shape. But its probably due to the fact that I have put hundreds into preventative maintenance. Cant wait to do the same to the M3.My previous build (currently E30-less)
