Most of my work has been going into the sterling. I would like it finished and dragged off the week of the fifth. Then work can really begin on the alpine lol.
I think I've just decided to go with the full b25 swap with a couple goodies. I need to get it pulled and make sure it is 100% before I can say for sure.
The steelies are dope and I'll be holding on to them but they will be replaced with something here soon until called upon for winter duty.
Couple questions however. I want to run an M42 rad for a couple different reasons; size, integrated coolant res, ect ect. What all is entailed with the retrofit to the b25?
Second, will I need an early model manual CSB or will my early auto CSB suffice?
And lastly, will my late model harness and ECU be plug n' play with the b25 swap or will I need to modify it? I've also read that the early '87 harness will be plug n' play, anyone have any insight into this?
Thanks guys!

maybe just a tease.
Pulled the entire suspension and cleaned her up. Will probably take apart and paint the rear subframe/TA's and maybe diff although they don't really need it. didn't snap a pic of the rear set up, but got this one of the cleaned fronts (minus brake cleaner) :D
In tandem to the breakdown of the sterling and modification of the alpine I'll also be building proper work tables and benches for my garage. They have been a long time coming and will be a huge help.
Additionally, the engine is nearing its exodus from the bay and the dash and interior is nearly stripped.

First tax exacted by the alpine on my body. broke a ratchet on the first brake caliper nut and as I was pulling the first strut, "boom!" wrench slipped off the swaybar end-link nut and index hit the brake rotor and pow she split. Exposed my tendon sheath, blood and fatty tissue everywhere goes woot woot. Approx time: 8:30pm

Two hours, 4 beers and half a pack of cigs later, my boy Shea came by and became my human wrench. It was splendid, I pointed and he unbolted shit :D
Three good hands got it done by 4:30am. ran into some small rust issues but persevered and voila dundee.
GC coils and koni yellows with GC RSMs. Also replaced the trunk seal gaskets and cleaned the interior. SS brake lines up front.
Need to bleed the brakes and do an oil change.
And the product. ( Have another inch up front and 1.5 in the rear to go down )

Not bad on 195/65/14s
Thanks for lookin,

Indeed, thanks L! And you really saved me with that key situation. Thanks again
Good looking car. An '87 iS 5 speed was EXACTLY what i wanted but this car came up and the situation was right enough. That's a perfect candidate for euro bumpers, euro weaves and some moderate low.
If my example was a little cleaner/straighter I'd do exactly that but its going to the ground and is going to be a clean, cheap, fun, rat.

Thanks man. Not a big fan of flamboyantly colored wheels but your sig looks ill. The finger needs a couple of stitches but i refuse to spend $400 to get it done, so it will be superglue and butterfly bandages and a fat scar. meh.Late model granitesilber 325i convertible FS:

Ok guys, couple questions.
1. does anyone know where to source the e30 ACS pinstripe kit? I need it as a template for striping I want to do.
2. M42 radiator to M20 retrofit. What's involved?
3. I know someone sells individual exhaust manifold gaskets for SS type headers but cant remember who. Anyone have a lead?
Thanks in advance!Late model granitesilber 325i convertible FS:
