I've used pickle forks and a couple different ball joint pullers, this kind works the best by far. It doesn't damage the boot, or the threads if you put the nut back on.

Yeah, I purchased one of those. I didn't have to use it though.

Got a new steering wheel. I wasn't planning on getting a new steering wheel, but, I couldn't pass it up.

Got some stuff this weekend...I can't seem to get the ball joints separated from the strut housing. Destroyed the ball joint boots in the process with a pickle fork and BFH. Any suggestions?

damn... that is an absolutely stunning car! I used to think that color was so boring, but with how clean your car is, it looks fantastic!

You still have the Gti? Figured that would be gone by now, ever think of brining it to carmax to see what they would give you for it.

Car is looking good, skip the hats and drive it this way for now.
