So i bought a 91 318IS a couple months ago for a short $650 bucks. I get my license back in a little over a month. I have short money and nothing but time to put into this pig. With little experience with working on cars i want to know if it is even possible to rip this thing apart and fix the rust and do some major bodywork on it so i can have a daily driver by august 25th 2010. With 262k mile it runs great alot of new parts have been put on it by the previous owner too. I'm gunna get some pictures up tomorrow and am hoping for some serious help from anyone who can give it. I've got the desire to make this car better than new. Thanks for reading.

the major rust is on the passengers side right behind the tire and various rust on the body i did some work on those spots the other day and it seems to be better than i thought.Attached FilesComment

shouldnt be to hard to fix. check the battery box in the trunk. might find some cancer there tooComment
