Subscribed! I've always had a soft spot for those cars, but was never brave enough to jump in. My boss at the first shop I worked at had been the service manager at Bob Sharp Ferrari/Maserati through the 80's and he had some real horror stories to tell.

928s on the other hand have never been my thing, but I wouldn't mind seeing a few pics of your dad's. Looks super clean from that corner I can see...

Very cool! The paint looks awesome. I've always admired these cars but I maintain a healthy (I think) fear of them... this coming from a guy who sells parts for Alfas!

Sells parts for Alfas? We'll be talking soon. I really miss my old Milano Verde and I'm hoping to come up with a decent example.

Thanks for all of the kind words and encouragment. I didn't get anything done this weekend as the girl and I wanted to take the sLotus out for a drive. It's a 6 hour drive to get to the Maserati to do any work so it remains one of the reasons updates will be slow. However, I am headed back up for final assembly next weekend. In addition to final assembly, I will start cutting the material for the interior.

On top of all that, I got an email from the owner of our next project car saying that he is selling his storage garage and we'll need to be out to pick up the car sooner rather than later. This means another important push to ge the Maserati done.

Looks good so far. I love the wheels you chose for it. Looks factory clean but more aggressive.

Sweet project. I've liked these since my neighbor got one when I was 10.

Pics of the elan? I've been searching for one I can afford for years now; I want one so bad!

It's in Cumberland now, I'll be up this coming weekend. Believe it or not, this car was purchased in Mt. Savage.

I'll see if I can dig up some pics of the elan...it's for sale if you want.
