    Introducing Megan

Going to the machine shop tomorrow. Bringing this and the crank that came from it to be magnafluxed as a start. The rest depends whether or not I have a good block to start with.

The car that it will end up in:

Plans besides a beast of an m42:
-Lots of body work and paint prep, not sure if I'll be trying to paint it myself yet.
    -Repair some rust.
    -Redo the interior.
-Replace any wear parts I haven't already replaced.

I'm off to a decent start with this one with the work that's already been done:
-Koni shocks with ground control camber plates and coil overs.
    -New a-arms with m3 CABs.
-M20 flywheel conversion with the flywheel lightened to 14 lbs.
    -New clutch and pressure plate.
-Rebuilt calipers all around with new rotors and pads.
-Custom exhaust from the header back.

While waiting for parts to work on a friends 528, I found a bit of time to mess around with my own car. Just ordered a new can of por15 to tackle the surface rust in the trunk and cover the few rust spots that need to be patched soon. I'm not about to lose this car to rust like my previous one.

Also started to smoke the headlights. I ran out of black paint for the rings, gotta get more tomorrow.

I heard from the machinist, too. The block needs to be honed at least because cylinders 2 and 3 were slightly out of round. Doesn't really matter, I plan on going up to an 85mm piston. The crank was in perfect shape. He's waiting to get more info from a piston shop that opened recently to see what kind of a deal he can get on a custom set of pistons since I plan to supercharge the motor.

Trucks suck. I was rear ended while making a turn, this is how the car came to a stop:

I walked away with some scratches on my arm. I was fucking lucky. My phone died and I couldn't get more pics of it at the time. This is the only pic my friend took. I was making the turn into her family's farm, so close to where I was going.

Insurance already said it's a total loss. I'm keeping the car to see what I can salvage from it since insurance didn't offer much if they took the car. It pretty much looks like an e30 style 318ti now.

Anybody know about getting a title for a car that has no paperwork? I have an 86 325e that was meant to be a track only car, but I think I might turn it into a daily driver instead if I can figure out how to title it again.

Sorry to see that happen but very glad to hear you made it out only with a few scratches. Just start with a new car, sometimes getting the title in a situation like that can be a real headache. Might not be worth your time.

Nope. It happened on December 22nd. Maybe I'm the last for 2010?
