I recommend ditching them. The original m42 design didn't have the throttle heater plate. It was added for emissions purposes. When it's all said and done, you're really just deleting that throttle heater and associated lines. The vacuum lines are just re-routed... you don't delete any of them. The M42 is VERY sensitive to vacuum leaks. They're all small diameter lines with tons of junctions... potential points of failure.Originally posted by ZM Blue Devil View Post

came in for a couple hours to work on her today...
replacing the seals on the diff, while at it figure should wire brush it clean and paint it. Did the LSD stencil, I know its not the right font/color but came out nicel, but then realized I did it on the wrong side... redo tomorrow, I guess thats a sign Im tired and need to get home.
Hope to have rear end on tomorrow so we can then start on the front/engine.
