euro e46 320 diesel crank, s50 pistons, s14 throttle bodies, custom engine management, etc. etc.

j/k, just taking it down and replacing/inspecting the wear items. Buddy guess where those parts we got from you going on? Been sitting on a shelf for nearly a year finally get to use them.

You had me going there for a second! That would be some kinda build. This car is looking great so far!

We were pleasantly surprised when we stripped down the engine from all the covers, very clean, no wear.

Replacing the wear items just in case and cleaned her up a good bit, then painted the block, next is the transmission.

Mid week parts should be back from powder coaters so we can assemble everything, drop existing engine/trans/ front subframe and put in all the new stuff.

What about the O2 plug? I bought the Mustang GT Bosch plug and crimped the BMW plug onto it. Works perfectly.

metal wire brush, the ones that go on the drill...

quick update... dropped off more items at the powder coaters...

Cant wait to get everything back to assemble.

Also been working/researching the ITB set up... Not much progress... Until this...

s54 ITBs mated to the m42....

Not sure if we will get them but we shall see.

Finally got her up on the lift and started the tear down.

Starting with the rear end. Eventually everything will come down, underside will get cleaned and painted new items installed.
