    1989 Alpine 325ic Project

So I have been looking for a plastic bumper Alpineweib cabrio for quite a while, even sold the car in my sig to have the cash on hand when the right one popped up. Finally one did in Seattle. I immediately contacted the seller and made a deal, then made the 4.5+ hour drive up with a borrowed trailer. I am so excited to have it back home with me!

It needs a little TLC, which is perfect because I like buying cars and saving them from the previous owners neglect. It runs and drives very well though, and accelerates quick with the gears haha. I am already in the process of cleaning out the interior and replacing broken/missing shit.

    Car specs:
    1989 325ic 5 speed
    127,000 on working odometer
    Race Skids skid plate
Sport interior, heated seats (still work), crack free dash
New Bilsteins and H&R springs, along with a bunch of replaced steering/suspension parts
Powdercoated Style 5's (color to change after winter)
    4:10 diff haha
Remus exhaust, not a fan of the huge tips but whatever

    On to some photos

Loading the car in the parking lot haha

The next day I had a chance to inspect it better

Then I started tearing it apart to clean all the junk out

After cleaning. The carpet has lots of stains still but is at least clean. Next spring when it is warmer/drier out I will take it out and re-dye it, probably black

And after a couple hours of scrubbing and re-conditioning, the seats were looking a little more proper

And now I am trying to dry the trunk out. I towed it home backwards on the trailer through basically a hurricane, so it took on some water haha

The immediate to do list consists of getting a proper alignment done and sorting out the ghetto aftermarket alarm/auto locks/stereo equipment (or lack of) along with finding the few little interior bits that are missing.

Loos like the PO did a good job on the bumper conversion. Great car, nice to see it's going to a good home.

Yea the conversion seems pretty solid! For the most part it was taken care of pretty well. Thanks everyone

              Sharp. Good pick.

I need those rear headrests! That is the next step for me.

Love seeing these restorations. The idea of simply cleaning these cars up is enough for many says a lot about its classic design. I love my 325iC.

nice clean E30. those black wheels look like they are from an E38. does this car have a 5 lug swap or could you buy similar wheels straight from BBS with a 4x100 pattern?
