Black lips on black centers on a black car with spike wheel bolts? I mean I'm all for being a little different from typical zomg-rs001-dish-stretch but come on... you are going back in time to where murdered out was cool (well, never, really) and adding spikes... that's not different, that's just retarded.

Awaiting the bolts from BFI and have to meet with the powdercoater this week. I need get a price and the type of finishes of the black they offer. I am going for a stealth black, something like a satin finish.

Because there is too many polished chrome RS' out there. I am still on the fence about going all black, I honestly love a well polished RS. We will see, I might just redo the faces to OEM and polish those lips out.

im all for doing something different, but when working with such a "classic" wheel theres a reason that so many of them are polished... its because thats how they look best. you can be different for differents sake, but going all black will destroy a beautiful wheel IMO.

I never said anything about polished faces. You've got thousands of colors to choose from, and you can choose a different color for the faces and the lips if that's your thing.

At least consider doing the faces in a color with black lips (just not body-colored please). That way you'll still get the chrome bolts against the black.
