So how fast does your car feel compared to the ol' M42? Do you know how fast it feels compared to an M20 car? I heard it is not that huge of a difference, but 190 hp is a significant jump from 168, and especially 134.

Compared to an m42, it's night and day. Compared to an m20, it is a noticeable gain. I also have a chip so it's even more lively, especially with the 4.10lsd

So it's been 2 weeks and about 250 miles of driving and it feels awesome. Very pleased with the swap and the drivability of the m50 vs the m42, A much better option for daily driving and heck of a lot faster aswell. I hooked up the 02 sensor and I noticed the car would run really sluggish, found out that it is due to the fact that the exhaust shop welded the 02 sensor INTO the bung! Fubarred everything up:hitler: I have a new 02 sensor and will be taking it to the shop to fix, aswell as add a muffler because this thing is too damn loud. Also figured that it's a bit too fast for stock brakes, scored an awesome deal on a pair of these ;)

Got back from europe 2 weeks ago, that was awesome, now a little update about the car. Got back went for a drive and did the usual checks since the car sat for a month. Saw that the Expansion tank was "sweating". Replaced that only to find that the radiator has a decent sized crack next to the bleeder screw. Well ordered a new radiator and that should come farely soon. Once that is out of the way, will definitely be starting to work on the interior ;)

I'll be starting a new thread as I will be starting to work on the interior of the car, I find it more important than the exterior because I spent most of my time in there and I want it to be mint. Heres the first new addition that will be going in shortly.
Is this the only wiring harness I need for it to work? Or is there another one? I know I don't need the code box, that's a whole other project to make work.

Well with more "power" :shifty, braking power is also needed. Was due for brakes anyway so decided to take care of all four corners. Got the rear done today and now have to wait for my Corrado Rotors, RX7 caliper rebuild kit and brackets so I can mount the fronts. Brake pedal also felt a bit mushy and as if there was no braking power whatsoever, somehow replacing the pads and rotors fixed that, probably not the case. Will look into that when I start doing the fronts.
Look at that ugly rotted rotor.
Brembo rotors and textar pads
All buttoned up!
Now stayed tuned for next week when I do the fronts!
