finally i stop playing COD4 and start working

i just got done with final last week and i have been playing COD every since. today i got up and was on r3v and saw some motivated build/restore/fixing ects. that finally wake me up and start working on my POS e30.

i been tracing my passenger water leak since it start raining in CA.

    removing the carpet/dash

    finally out...

what is this rubber band doing here????

now i know i'm not the only one digging for answer about the leak(not pretty but at least it wasn't the leaking spot)

    soak with water

did some testing and this hole is the answer(when the outside vent is flooded and the water rise to this hole, it'll start leaking through it)

put in a pin with sealant around it(tested: so far no leak here)

    inside the passenger vent(seal)

more testing and it comes to this: driver side and passenger side( when mass amount of water flood driver side vent, some how water can leak into the fan blower area and down into the passenger side) I don't know how i'm going to fix this without taking out the blower???
    ANY INPUT GUYS????

this is where the water is dripping to

then as i was going to end the day, i went to open the trunk and OMFGGGGG water..

then i saw this..HOLE... i patch it up with some sealant for now

what a mess, how am i going to put it all back together??

    so far no inside rust

and now stuff i still need to fix/replace

water in my tail light. ANY INPUT ON THIS GUYS???

need new passenger hinge and dent remove( previous owner use a paper clip)

    and this

need a new driver door( this on just suck)

    door seal

    need a new hood

need new valance(volvo lip and bent valance suck balls)

    need new wind shield

    need new f/r roundel

    need to rise my sunroof

as i was working, got this in the mail (since when did working on your own car become a repair business) bull shitttttttt.. lately my across the street neighbor is being a dick. my brother was working on his car in the driveway and checking for an exhaust leak(he was revving it) that dick came running across the street and start yelling "are you fucking done yet". i was like WTF..

    here my little brother e30.

It's easy. remove the seats and center console. cut around the HVAC panel cause you're not going to notice the cuts anyway once installed. Little bit of jiggle and get it out. It's preferred having two people to get it out, but I did it by myself. Took quite a while to get it out by myself but it worked.

OP, punch your neighbor in the face.

there is a post on here somewhere that explains it.. i haven't done it yet but will soonish. remove seats, remove seat belt rails, door sill cover, rear seats, front speaker covers, center console and i don't remember but there might be some slight cutting needed up behind the glove box and possibly by the pedals.
