Some pics from under the car.

    V-Bands from Burns

True dual set up with a dual inlet/outlet Cat. The cat has an open chamber inside that helps balance the everything out. Car sounds great with minimal rasp at certain RPM's

Drove it hard last night and was very excited on how the car performed and felt. It really feels glued to the road. Can't wait to get it on the track or auto X. The 3.46 rear end seems to be a good match for the 260 and s52. Temps never get even to the half way mark even without the fan on. Thinking of putting flares on sorta like the ones Newman has on his car because I really like how the style 5's look. We'll see.

    Small clip

Cars at my work now getting some dings removed and fixing the valance that I screwed up getting off the ramp. Also going to be getting some body work and paint work done hopefully. Time to start doing all the little things like paint the rear plastic strip on the bumper and what not. Still a long road ahead IMO but at least it can be enjoyed now.

Was happy the CEL went off after hooking up the 02 sensor. Never know if that is all thats going on or not.

Well the car is at the exahust shop (Sorta) until Monday. 1st time in 2 years this car has not been in my garage. Feels kinda wierd going out there right now. Was hoping to get it done Friday but the supply shop Kyle uses was out of what we needed. So Monday it is.

Also got ARP studs for the mains on the new s52. Taking them to the machine shop on Monday as well.

Car should be terrorizing the streets come Monday ninjas! muahahhaha

Some pics for the add folks

    hmmmm too low

Had to raise the suspenion and use 2x4's to get it on. Also removed the is lip.

Hopefully Monday or Tuesday I'll have video clips of it.

    front

Car is not setting the way I want it to right now and will require a different wheel or a severe roll/pull from the fender. Looks like some DSI or DSII's will be in my future.

Futue plans definetly include shadow lining the car! :)

Rear springs came in yesterday and threw them in

Took the car for a drive and this suspension is fucking tits. Car was very smooth and tight. Can't wait to put it through the ringer. Spun the tires to make sure the diff is locking and we're good there. Not getting power to the window switches, so got an issue there. Not sure if it has something to do with the swap or not. Car never had power put threw it while I owned it until after the motor swap. :(

Also had an issue with the car not wanting to idle after it warms up. If it sits there and wamrs up then its fine. But had to restart it a couple times while driving because it died after pushing to clutch in. Got the car back to the house and it would start but had issues running without giving it gas. Fun times.

Friday I'm going to the exhaust shop to get this thing ready for the road. :)

    Edit:

Nevermind on the warm motor idle issue. Seems the 02 sensor comes into play when it warms up and mine is not connected due to no exhaust. Hopefully that fixes it.

Need some opinions on my exhaust set up. Was looking at these from burns and was thinking it would make sense to have built in after the converter.

My plans are v-bands on the headers to dual inlet/outlet converter and then some type of x pipe to cat back Stromung exhaust. Only part that sucks is where to put the o2 sensor.

Would putting the X pipe before the converter push it too far back?

Interior went back in last night. Going to wait until next winter to turn everything black. Got the carpet for it but would rather spend my money on tring to get this thing on the track this year rather than looking how I want it to. Hope fully got m3 rear seats on the way in a couple weeks and will be getting Creative options to get me the kit to recover them in a black leather/micro fiber combo.

    For now though

MattB hopefully will have my new boot and ebrake cloth coming soon. The cat I ordered from Summit showed up the very next day! :) Thanks Mike for telling about that one. I pulled it out of the box and it's looks like it going to work perfect for my application. Off Friday but unfortunatley the Vband's aren't scheduled to get here until Monday. Sux because I really wanted this thing to go to the exhaust shop Friday. Whats one more week in a 2 year build though right? ;)

used Dom's springs for the rear just to get it back on the ground. The AST springs will be 5'' free length and 2.25 inside diameter. Dom's were 6'' free length and 2.5 inside diameter. So I couldn't use the adjusters with them. The front could still come down a bit. Right now though I need to get the windows working so I can drive it to the exahust shop with out passing out. hahaha

Replaced the crush washers on the power steering pump last night. Hopefully will stop/slow a leak I was having.

Also got to install the front coilovers.

Camber plates help get the wheels back where they belong. Probably still going to get a better offset wheel. I imagine when I get it aligned they will be poking out there again. :(

Can't wait to get it back on the ground

Dom said he may have some rear coiolver springs I can use until mine get here. :)

    hmmmmm, Something is missing

They left the rear springs out of the packaging. Sucks because I've been waiting a minute on these. Left Jack a message and email already so I hope they get them out early next week.
