yeah Alex, I'm almost done with it for this round. Then I will get it out again and meet up. Thurs nights work well for me since I close at work and can come right from there.

Its typical for cross drilled to crack under stress by the holes but I think mine are defective due to some of the material missing right in the middle of the rotor, no where near the holes.

Already made the decision to go with blanks or slotted.

+1 Sam, I've heard that is common with drilled rotors.

Nice work on the rockers, too!!

Man I'm glad I pulled it off the road to inspect. I've driven it less than 1k miles and one of the front rotors is showing signs of stress or something. Needless to say it needs to be replaced.

    Assuming the position

    Things on agenda:

Maintenance on the brakes. The solid bushings require lubrication and it will be a good barometer on how long everything holds up by inspecting it now. They say to do it once a month regardless of how many miles driven.

Also going to yank the rotors and get rid of some surface rust.

Paint the rockers back black where they are faded.

Go back over the suspension bolts as everything has been off at some point or another

    Shadowline

Clean up the wiring, Already purchased the m3 harness cover

Get new wheels and tires on and get aligned after that

Well i have finally got some DS2's insight. Supposed to be picking them up Friday! Looking forward to getting a wheel on my car that fits correctly. Style 5's will be up for sale shortly for real this time. lol Going to seperate the tires though as I got most of my request for one or the other but not both.

Gotta figure out what color I'm going to go with on the wheels though. Maybe gun metal or balck again. Kinda the theme of the car, red and black. Still need to fucking shadowline this thing as well. After I got this moving the progress on the projects came to a screatching halt! :p

I love your rides! Thanks for the compliment BTW. Future goals are finishing the interior in black leather and Alcantara combo with red stiching. I'm going to build a FI prepped s52 block that hopefully will be putting down somewhere in the mid to upper 400's. Need wheels in et41 to get them where they belong, FLUSH. haha

For now though, I'm just trying to enjoy it. :)

The front brakes are e36m and the rears 318ti. Bought the front set up and rear setup almost complete for 500 shipped. Rebuilt or upgraded everything from there.
