I am interested to see how the M60 works out. Those fenders look like a ton of work to get fitted right.

Thanks everybody, I kind of thought this forum would dig the project... I joined r3v last June, but they never activated my account, so I couldn't post anything until this week. That sucked... but, it's posted now, so we'll just move forward. For those Ohio people and especially mtechrisII, I grew up in Bexley and now live in Pennsylvania. There are some crazy BMW people/builds coming from Pa, so it's a good place to be, Lol! Never thought I'd run into a Bexley alumnus on r3v, but hey, that's pretty damn cool. I won't have anything new until Sunday to show, but I should get a full day in on it then, so stay tuned... can't wait to start the cage...

The rear quarter panels were $400 a piece, the fronts were $230 a piece, trunks go for $200 and up, bumpers $350 and up each, skirts $250 and up a pair, rear wings $200 and up. The sail panel/rear window frame is the holy grail of M3 parts, though. Finding just that part is becoming impossible... you almost have to buy a wrecked shell, nowadays. That's what I had to do, anyways...

Yep it took us a long time to find a wrecked m3 to take of the saill/rear window panel for our project car! We also did the exactnthing with the roof skin from a 318! Its allot of work!

                          Looks really nice!!!!!!

Yes, it took me about 8 months to find the wrecked M3 shell for my rear end parts. Sad way for an M3 to die, but part of it still lives on! Speaking of wrecked M3s, a customer of mine dropped his off(actually, the rollback brought it)today, all banged up. It's not an E30, but a 95 E36 M3, in Dakar... he drove it into a ditch in the foul weather we had here this week. Bent the right wishbone into a U, basically tore up the whole front end... and it still has a temporary tag in the rear window... Ouch! I'll get it fixed up, though...
