Lots of hours on the torch yesterday and this morning and I have a manifold that fits under the bonnet. Yay. Spent the last week shortening and modifying the runners and plenums because of a severe lack of bonnet height.

    Runners and backing plates.

    Internal welding of plenum.

    Throttle body flanges on.

Blast it all up with this bad boy.

Done(except for lots of fittings and crap and a balance pipe.)

Gotta work out the gear shifter now.

Done a bit on the manifold while we are quiet at work. New welder being a fag didn't help but came out ok so far.

Done some shiz on this thing after a bit of a break.

Bought and fitted an M3 Leather interior. Is nice.

And did some more work on the intercooler and radiator.

Mounted the intercooler to the body and soft mounted the radiator to the intercooler.
Also changed all 4 intercooler outlets to get the correct sizes and direction.

Welded 90's onto the compressor housing also. This side will have to have the gay joiner.

This side I will extend the comp outlet so a 90 silicone will be the only joiner.

LOVE this build, but don't you worry about the exhaust dump causing unnecessary heating of the differential? Or do you plan to extend it to the rear of the car?

Seems like it would be easier to run an e30 diff and have a custom driveshaft made (or stock modified to fit the DET trans)

Did most of the exhaust over easter. Left the rear muffler till later as I didn't get any BMW hangers and Phil's white car has a ghey bodykit that gets in the way of the tips.

Twin 2.5" from turbos to back of gearbox, into single 3" cat, back out into twin 2.5" stainless resonators and will go on to twin 2.4" into a VX commo Xforce muffler that I got for $50.

Because the car has no diff in it and I needed one for clearance I thought I'd jack the S14 diff into position. Turns out it lines up pretty well with the std mounts, will only need a machined sleeve with offset hole for the front and a bracket for the rear with an added hanger for the drivers side.

Is there a reason why the drivers side turbo is clocked that way?
