Sucks to hear about the pistons man, but good work! This is going well.

you can use Maxsil pistons but you might just have to have the skirts shortened a bit by the machine shop. No big deal. Or maybe they make short skirt versions? Better to call them and ask.
Did you see the crankshaft I am using? Knifed AND shorten the counter weights. That is the reason I am not switching out to a different crankshaft.

I called and they are not open, it is Labor day. But I checked out their site and they sell piston kits. So I hope that this can be sorted out soon. Just about sick of this shit, if I knew all this BS was going to happen(machine shops, asshole sellers etc) I would have put the m30 in and been DONE. FML

The problem is I have no idea what size to go with to match the m52 crank and eta rods. I searched and found nothing on piston size options. I called Metric Mechanic and they did not understand that I am sticking with what I own right now. Plus my brother said he is not dropping 2,800 on pistons & rod(inc bearings) and the rings.

For that change I could fucking swap a s50 xD then sell all the stroker parts.

So if ANYONE knows the max size I can use with the m52 crankshaft and ETA rods please let me know. If you say go with expensive customs etc FUCK OFF =)

I will check out those Maxsil ones right now.

    Update

So I have been having issues with pistons. Bought some to replace the worn ones that were in the block. The seller said they were low miles provided pictures etc. Turns out he lied and they are cracked and missing CHUNKS between the ring grooves.

So I am buying new pistons and getting the block top machined & honed. Hoping to get this done together soon.

Info on the pistons if someone can chime in =)

The only thing they do better than stock is weigh less and rust.

Better than the stock ones and those shitty ebay long tubes. These fit like a custom glove and look very nice. They get the job done and that is what they were bought for.

Are those the IE shorty headers? Nothing wrong with those! My set was great on my old 4 door.
