You are supposed to pull the motor out of the m5, sort it, boost it, and drop THAT in the e30. :)

haha i knowww! I do have the 318i that could use a little pep! ;)

I just dont know if i could ditch the chassis since its so clean everywhere else other than the front end. First though the m20 needs to get running and who the hell knows whatll happen after that!

I received my harness from VEMS yesterday! It is a 3 piece harness.. Main harness.. injectors.. and relays. I am pretty stoked with the quality and how its almost plug and play. The only customizing I will doing is all the sensors.

I didnt want to unravel it yet as I was in a hurry but here is a picture!

All I am waiting on now Is for my head to get finished up, should be soon!

        TO DO LISt
        • Assemble everything
        • purchase-- turbo, wastegate, clutch, all misc lines and fittings
        • install!
        • Tune
        • 20psi..FUN!
I am planning on getting this running over summer as i will just be working and have plenty of time to work on all my cars. Cant wait!

          Awesome.
Are the valves stainless? If so any concerns using with a turbo? I remember reading a while back that the stainless valves don't handle the extra heat from turbos very well.
I've got no experience with this personally, but I am running stainless valves (no turbo).

They are, I dont think there should be a problem. I bought them off of Mr. Deagle, and he was planning on putting them in a turbo m20 years ago but decided to go with his m10 turbo instead.

I sure hope there isnt a problem, cuz if there is :drink:VACs turbo valves are SS so they should be fine!

                17x8
                235/45(ithink)/17

Needs major fender treatment! Adjusters are as low as they go but i barely have the spring compressed at all
I also have to get some hubcentric rings, which i forgot!
                that is all.

Thanks man! Yeahh I am hoping to put down quite a bit!

Once the suspension is finished then I am going to get cracking on the engine and hopefully make some good progress in the next couple months

Why would you delete the E-brake? Seems like a pretty useful item on a street driven car. The wheels look fantastic, you may need shorter springs in the rear though.

                          Shorter springs?

I deleted it just because I did not have all the parts required to put it on and being in Arizona, we don't really have slanted streets. I can't ever think of a time since living here where I had to park on a hill. I know a few e30 guys running without and they said it's never been an issue. If it turns out it was a bad idea then I will slap them on

I got this bad boy in tonight..

I have an airbag car and you most definately have to cut the fire wall. Wasnt able to install the rack without doing so. Took a bit of playing around with it to get it correct. I also forgot my fucking key so not sure exactly if it spins freely but it most certainly should

In one of your previous posts it said the adjusters were all the way down and the spring was barely compressed. I assumed you meant it was not low enough.
