              L,
Very nicely done - I really like the bumper treatment & the wheels pull it off well. Which options did he select for your custom vent gauge?

So it has been a full 24 hours with Betty so far...

I can not believe the amount of attention that she has received so far, from all types of people. I drove 250 miles yesterday, heavy traffic and 100+ on the highway, all the car does is beg for more! It loves the turns, feels incredibly planted with the new tires and suspension, nice and sticky. The power and sound of the motor are incredible, I have tried to find the r3v limiter many times, yet it keeps pulling harder and harder.

I took a buddy through a set of turns on a roadway we have driven for years, he just sold his e92 m3 for a 2011 s4, and said he had never been through those turns that fast and that stable (of course I think it's cause of my driving, he gave all the credit to the car lol)

Same as on the boards, some love the wheels, some have less love for them... But everyone is drawn to them... There is no such thing as bad attention! Once I open the hood, it's a whole new conversation The attention to detail in the engine bay blows people's minds. it really looks brand new in there, everything has been painted polished and clear coated, you could eat off of it. Many people asked why put so much detail under the hood if no one sees it, my reply "because we know it's there". Then I show them all the green powder coated pieces under the car!!

I love the car (it already had a lot of sentimental value to me prior to the build) I loved the whole experience of the build. The ideas, new parts-euro this-custom that-while we are in there- wonder if we could-should we, never stopped coming and we completed just about all of them (sorry about the lack of turbo Joel). There are already phases 2 and 3 being planned for Betty so make sure to stay tuned as we are certainly not done yet. Levent and Joel (and Nico too) worked their asses off to say the least on this project, while setting the stage for G-Fest I may add! I can not thank them enough...

Also need to thank r3v... There were many nights you guys would stop by with pizza and beer and a good story, late night phone calls about fittings and wires, even going to Boston to pick up parts for me!! The community we have is really great, thank you.

So... As it has been built to drive, we are going on a few road trips this summer to meets and such... Meet us at Guten, take the drive no blue tape either, rock chips are cool! Well maybe we can find some green tape...

                      Thanks Levent and Joel...

So what did you do with the front turn signals? LEDs in the bulb housing?
