I ended up getting the piece. Most of the cars in the yard had squishy battery boxes. I made out though. Car was back burnered for a bit but is back on. Should be wet sanding tomorrow. Hopefully painted by friday!!!

Im back!!! Has some stuff going on that I needed to get taken care of. The rust is finally fixed just need to finish up the body work on the back of the car so we can wetsand and paint the car. I got a call today that all of my parts that went out to powdercoat are ready to be picked up. now I need to make an order from the stealership to get all the misc. parts I need to get her back together. Then get it to the interior shop woot

Took forever to get pics! Been so damn busy. Just looked at all the parts I am so happy with them. It is going to look killer. Way better than the DIY for sure. Took more effort but doing it this way looks 1000000000 times better. I sprayed them with Trim black through a gun reduced a little bit and just couldn't get over how horrid they looked. The application was good just the color looks washed out and permanently greasy.
The color that these are is Vulcan black now. Now to get the back windows back together..... =)
