        Hahaha.

Well went down to the local Napa today, they have 3M brake cleaner for $2 a can. Of course they are out until tomorrow though.

I need ATF too, look like Dexron III is the stuff. But all Napa carries for that is their own brand.

Wow. I really wish I had people around here willing to teach me. You're learning from some good people. I'm really jealous.

Glad you got the car man, keep up the good work.

Grabbed some 3M brake cleaner tonight for $2 a can. Napa sale nationwide... all month... I got some Valvoline Mercon ATF too for my power steering.

And ordered some trim black paint. Im buying more of that cleaner tomorrow when I go back

Well I tried to flush my power steering today, it took me so long. That fluid was NASTY. I went down to lowes and bought 6 feet of clear 5/16" tubing, then I put one end in the reservoir, and the other in my container.

Well I got it through the line fine the first time, then I added enough new ATF fluid to fill the reservoir. I started the car and turned the wheels lock to lock like 5 times.

Second time was hard to get fluid through the line, i was scared of eating it. SO I ended up taking a shop towel, putting it over the end and sucking through the towel. That sort of worked.

Either way 3 reservoir flushes, and 1.3 quarts of fluid added later... and it is still jet black. FML

Did you get a new PS reservoir? They have an internal filter built into them.

They do? Hmm, Ill get one someday then.

Oh and I spilt dirty fluid all over our 60 year old street. Normally kitty litter can get that shit out on falt concrete... but this stuff has medium size gravel embedded in the top layer.

And my Dad took my fucking keys until it is clean. Yay

Tried finding a vacuum leak yesterday, I got my keys back. No luck, and I used a whole can of brake cleaner.

Atleast my vacuum leak is really only at idle.

Did you check around the intake manifold gaskets?
