    No nice wheels yet.......

.........................I made the wife sell her E53 X5 4.8is and am now building up her E46 330i to make up for it. All of the build funds have gone to her poly suspension bushings and KWv2's.

I am currently looking for wheels for my car though.

I'm in North Phoenix - come by the AZBMW meet at I10 and Ray rd In n Out Thursday 7pm. There will quite a few swapped cars there actually.

I paid $2k shipped for the motor, trans, harness, DME, and all accessories.

There is a tremendous variance in swap cost's. It just depends on what you want. I went with a bunch of upgrades and replaced a lot of wear items with heavy duty, top of the line new stuff. I put about $5k in to my swap, but could have done it for about $3k.

The motor came out of a yard on the east coast. I got the place to give me a pretty damn good deal shipped.

I was lazy on the drive shaft and ordered it from Bav Recycling in California. I over paid ($200). It was warrantied and came with a brand new CSB and guibo.....

Nice job man, I really like the all black engine bay and two tone interior, black door cars would go a long way though too. Good looking Bronzit!

Glad to see something is going on with it! :D
That must have been before I bought the car. The car was pretty sketchy when I bought it. Completely shot cooling system, blown steering rack/pump and a few other things here and there. I saw a lot of potential because of the clean body, but unfortunately i never realized that potential and then blew the headgasket. I'm really glad to see Chris treat this car the way it deserved. Really nice job on the swap. Hope you enjoy it for a long time.
