Added a few pictures of the ARE rebuild from a few months back. Love the wheels, love the capabilities of the tire, but the tire size sucks!
First page updated... I will take new photos (over the holiday break) of some changes I have made since first buttoning up the project. Better swaybar spacers, intake setup....etc
AREs look good Chris.. hope to make it to the meet this Thursday to see them in person... i had no idea you had so much into engine mods.. 243 is a kickass result...
Thanks, we'll see you at third Thursday!

what shifter linkage did you end up using with the ZF?
Thanks, I used the z3 shifter from the PO and the stock (?) linkage that was on the E30 when I did the swap.

well then good for you man. good looking car. its nice to hear someone getting that much out of an s50 with mods and no boost. opens up a variety of options. thanx
Thanks, Dyno results are really kind of subjective. I am am comfortable with the readings I got because of the compared results to the Maha dyno run on my buddies M50 car the week prior, and due to the similarity of the other cars runs and their mods (or lack of). The car always felt strong......
There are results to be had NA for sure. Now the last step for me will be cams.
Headers, full custom exhaust, TRM tune, no mechanical fan, no AC to drag the motor, all the intake "mods".... based on the stock s52 and the modified s52 numbers I would say I'm right where I should be.

how did u pull 243 when that stock s52 pulled 213? serious question. i mean i saw the headers and ram intake but i didnt know u can get 250 peak out of a s50 on such subtle upgrades.

Got my wheels this weekend. ARE 398 4x100 16x7 et25.
I will start tearing them down for paint (dark gray/nogaro-ish) and polish this weekend. New tires are in route so these should be on in time for our AZ caravan to the Epic Socal BBQ.
