the leather on the Mtech is original that the stitching had torn and came undone. so i just got a curved needle from the wife and some strong nylon thread and stitched it up by hand.
haven't done much lately until today when i knocked out the oil pan gasket at work.
it took longer since the oil pump drive shaft stops broke but i figured it out and got it back together.
thats the end of maintenance stuff really, so now its onto the fun stuff. i figure that if i need to replace or repair something, why not upgrade it while im in there.
so next is the steering rack. the drivers tie rod has some play so im swapping in the standard E36 rack out of a 318i. so i ordered the gaskets, hoses, and im going to pick up the hardware for the swap in the next few days.
