The manifolds were what I had and I thought about going with the s52 manifolds from a newer model but I figured using these was easier and I wasn't going to make that much more power.

The bottom end was left alone. I checked the bearings and some of the other components and everything looked good to go. I guess we will see. Haha

So a little update from the last couple weeks. I got a bunch more parts and I am getting really close to putting the s50 in in a couple weeks. I am currently working on taking the m42 and getrag 240 out of the e30. Here are a few pictures

and lastly a little progress until it got too hot and I jumped in the pool :D Radiator, hoses, and intake off.


Next up is to route the new coolant and oil lines on the s50 and to get the m42 outta here!! Btw if anyone in San Diego is intereted let me know...it is almost too much power to handle!!! :hitler: haha

Sorry for not posting in a while but we have made some good progress. Engine is in with the tranny although we broke one of the small tabs right off on the end of the transmission :| so I'll be getting it rewelded on the car. Here are some recent pictures.
