Bike looks great, mind me asking what you paid and what it weighs?
It weighs in at around 17.5lbs. I worked at a bike shop for awhile so most of it was bought at EP pricing or got hooked up with I have less $1500 in it :o

What am I doing wrong? Need to sand it down first like you did yeah? Or is there more to it?
Are you waxing it after? Soon as I did each panel they were each immediately given two coats of wax to help seal the paint. Or really a good paint sealer would work. Sanding shouldn't be necessary to get a lasting shine but it could help. Just be care around the edges!

Good stuff, thanks for sharing. Could you tell what your procedure was for cleaning the carpet? I need to do that.

Simple really. Vac'ed out all the dirt, brushed it to loosen more dirt. Vac'ed again. Then used Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner and soaked it pretty well, scrubbed with a brush and vac'ed again. Repeated with the cleaner a few times then let dry. Any decent upholstery cleaner could do the trick too.

Thats where I went wrong! I've got some Zymol titanium lying around, should use that on it afterward!
