this build looks good, super flush fitment on the rears, *applaud* for you. can't wait to see this finished...i'm actually nodding while i'm typing, weird.
I haven't made any progress, had to build a pumpkin launcher for one of my classes and that took all weekend. I did get the new spacers though, just haven't had a chance to do much else. I'll get some better pics when I get it on the ground.
spent a lot of time fitting the rear wheels/tires today..
First, I had to notch the trailing arm for the 11's
Then came the fenders, they didn't need too much.. But I need to tuck the rears so the 17" fronts don't look goofy.
This is what I started with, not good considering my actual spacers will be pushing the wheels 3mm further out. I'd be smashing lips into quarters all day-
What I ended up with
Should have the new spacers this weekend so we'll see where it all ends up.
265/35... I'm at a loss for the fronts. I need to keep it proportional, I don't want it look like it has way more sidewall in the front or look like it is super raked.
The ride should be great. I had Nex coilovers on my last e34 and hated them, I'm definitely expecting these to ride better than those.
Haven't done much to the car but I did get one of the tires mounted and decided of final offsets for the rear. This is 18x11 ET21 and it has barely any clearance at the trailing arm. I'm hoping after pulling the fenders I can tuck the 18's enough to get the car looking level with the 17's in the front.
