I don't have many pictures from this weekend, but we did make a lot of progress. The only picture I took was of the rear quarter, this car was hit and shoddily repaired in the rear quarter when I got it, the bodyline just disappeared about 6" from the taillight. After a little metalworking and a lot of blocking the quarter is looking pretty close to the way it should

Got the fender roller, but unfortunately USPS still hasn't delivered my tires after 7 days in transit from CA. Finished rear fitment update coming soon

Got a little work done on my wheels- center bores bored out, lips polished and bolts painted metallic black. A ford color actually, but it looks really cool in the sun.

Test fitted them tonight and I'm definitely going to need to pull the fenders... Luckily I'll have the chance to do it before paint for the first time.

    Bodywork updates this weekend

    Hot cars=owned by a student!

[QUOTE=Jb325is;2645902]I figured I would put this here since it's what is keeping me from making progress on my e30 temporarily. I've gotten to the point where my e30 is not DD friendly and I really needed another car. I always have had a thing for e34's and had a really nice one a few years back but I ended up breaking it apart and using the drivetrain in my e30.. I kinda regretted it and really wanted another one, so I had no choice when I found this '89 535i 5 speed on craigslist locally with a blown headgasket. It was cheap enough to allow me a little extra cash at it, nothing crazy as I am a self sufficient homeowner/college student but I suck at leaving things alone.

Really! Left overs from your student loans pay mortgage and home owner's insurance! :eeek:

Do they widen wheels also? Would be funny if we did sort of a wheel transplant and widened my wheels with the 2" that you removed.

Yep, 2" out of the barrels. I like the ACS wheels too but I couldn't say no to these
