I'll have pics of how it sits under the car soon. As for sound, im not to excited about it. it has a bit of a rasp to it/lot of rasp, mainly because there is only a 12" resonator to muffler. I did this because i am going turbo shortly and wont need a second muffler or cat when that happens.

      UPDATE: Exhaust pics and clip

here's a few pics of the exhaust mounted up. The back isnt hanging correctly in relation to the rear valance. I still have to finish up mounting the valance, then i will change the hangers and what not. Anyways, i think it is tucked up there pretty nice, and for my first welding job i think it came out halfway decent
Sorry for the large and sideways pics. Photobucket is being lame for some reason

here is how it hangs right now, the valance is mocked up slightly, i'm having trouble getting it to fit correctly.

i moved on to mounting the rear bumper. I had to slot the bumper shock mounting holes and shock hole. it was kind of a pain but i like how i have some leeway with fitment.

as of right now i am having trouble with my wheel wells and how the plstic bumper matches up. since i have a vert the wheel arches are more oval than the coupes, so th eubmper looks like it doesnt fit. anyone experience this before, or should i just try and fit it better.

looking great.....second red vert on here that is heading in the direction I want too, or already there.

My hg started letting oil leak into the coolant so I garaged her. I'm slowly gaining the knowledge for a swap...I priced out a built m20 from the head down and figured at the numbers Im talking about Id rather just swap and have more fun.

So now as it sits, I have a sad vert in the garage awaiting a new power plant. I organized the tools I have, cleared room, made a nice work bench and now Im just waiting on some cash lol

I think I might start parting the m20 out to help things move, or i might sell it together, its hard to sell m20s in my area

bummer about your head gasket, thats never fun. Glad you're thinking about a swap though. It really depends on how much time you want to spend parting the engine out, but i guess since it has a blown HG you would make more $ parting. Get everything for the swap before you start. Thats what took the longest for me was finding little things here and there. It sucked.

What engine mounts you guys running for turbo. I have the e28's right now but they don't seem to have the best rep. Also, is that a Blunttech manifold?

Thats awesome man. Sadly I can't work on my car because I am at school right now. What turbo and wg are you using? And what fuel management?

I have the e28 m5 mounts and UUC poly bolt through w/ reinforcement cups for my trans. The engine mounts seem fine but I am not running turbo yet so Im not sure how they'll hold up. I think I'm going to switch to some higher quality solid or poly mounts once I finish my turbo setup/ And yes, that is the Bluntech/Good & TIght manifold. I love it.

I just really don't like the way you can see the mount is under tension all the time. Tons of guys get away with using them but it obvious it's kinda hack. But hey...I'm using them right now too.
I'll be ordering up one of those manifolds for my Christmas present. Would it be best to order off eBay or send a direct email?

how much tension is your mount under? any pics of it? I would send a direct email or PM Good & Tight on r3v. Great guys to work with, and I love the manifold, it's so purdy. Make sure they know what turbo you're using so they can send out the correct downpipe.

those are soem big injectors. dod you go straight from oem to 60lbs? and how do you like the rk tune? I haven't really heard of a lot of people using an rk tune. THats cool you have changable setting though. Sounds like the TRM multi-tune.

I'm pretty sure i'll be going MS3 and MSX
