    Small update.

Installed these shock tower reinforcements and the 6x6 plates. Having the spare wheel well out made it more comfortable to weld.

Cut holes in the floor to drop the cage down to have access to weld the top of the cage. And bent up the floor plates to fit in the corner.

nice work! did you angle the right tower due to clearance issues with the down tube from the main hoop? keep up the good work, im curious to see how this turns out.

Looking good man... I'm with ya about being comfortable when you're welding! Having mine on the rotisserie made my life a lot easier!

Finally some updates: Had some time this weekend to work on it and got a good amount accomplished.

Dropped the cage through the floor to weld up top.

Got the dashed installed after I took the pics.

            One of the floor plates.

And the big gun being put to good use other than manifold fabrication.

Next up is install the door bars and start working on the fuel cell.

                  No main hoop diagonal bar?

Or is that not a requirement of a bar for a drag car?

i like a lot. I always wondered how u paint cages once theyre in the car. im guessing lots of news paper is used for overspray
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.

Slow progress but getting there. Working on completing the fuel system.
Added some additional bracing for the diff and painted the trunk, this is a primer coat.
