how rare is Euro S50ed, 5 lug, big brakes e30 M3 Touring in US? Vlad is building it !
The name of the thread tells you what motor is in it and one of the first posts Vlad posted said he was not touching under the hood until after this weekend. He is trying to get it done to take it up to the Poconos for the 25th anniversary of the M3 get together on Saturday, so the engine bay was of no concern. It runs and drives already and if he gets the bodywork, paint and interior finished, that is a huge accomplishment in itself...

Sorry, forgot the rules of internet forums, read the first post! lol

Lol... no sweat. Since the thread has grown a little, I thought it wouldn't hurt to revisit the first couple of posts, haha. I'm anxious to know if he was able to get it completed enough to take it up today....
yes, the show has been rescheduled because of the Hurricane Irene that is already here.
We took it easy and did not rush to finish the car. There are still few things here and there to complete and I still need to pick up the interior, it's done but I am not driving to get it in this weather
I am doing some work on the rear AC Schnitzer wheels and then will drop the car on the ground (adjustable TC Klein coilovers), also waiting for my French Yellow fog lights to arrive from Europe
few more pics
right now the touring is locked in the garage hoping to get thru this biggest hurricane in NY/NJ history
Yeah, I wish... I'm starting to feel the effects of Irene now, as well. My project is locked up safe and sound at the shop, too! I was going to go work on it tonight, but have decided to stay home with the wife and girls, as the wind has picked up and we're expected to get a lot of rain between now and tomorrow afternoon. It's not bad enough here to warrant staying inside, but I can't justify leaving the house to go work on the car. If something happened, like loosing the electricity, I'd feel really bad being at the shop instead of at home, so I'm staying put tonight....
It's starting to look like another completed project, Vlad! Kudos again! And get some sleep, I'm sure you need it!!!
