I have not done the rears yet, as it requires body work.

Stuff that I did on the break

Painted the washer fluid res. black

500* paint on valve cover along with new valve cover gasket. Didn't have time to take off IM, but I will soon enough.

Limo tint in rear 3 windows, and legal Arizona up on the front 2.

    Antenna Delete Cover

Decided to paint my Bottlecaps gloss black. I really don't care, this is my DD, and the bottle caps were in terrible condition before. Really made them look better.

Refinished the bottle cap "caps", polished the metal and also ordered BMW metal stickers for them.

Finally got around to putting on the MATT-B shift knob and e-brake covers. I got the Faux with ///M colors. They look great!

Ordered a new front Roundel and put it on. The original one was toasted.

Just a pic of the engine bay after I degreased the crap out of it. Still has some work.

Other than that, I am still needing to do a ton of work on it. I have a garage full of OEM replacement parts I need to put on, but this semester is starting up on the 5th. So work is slow. Gotta love college builds.

Good start but it looked a lot better without the tint.

Shadowline the trim and the tint will look much better. Good work so far - not feeling the black bottlecaps though.

yes! It is just difficult with full time engineering student + (20-30 hours) of work. I just need to have a 3 day weekend and then I will be able to do it. Shadowlining was my top thing to do this winter break, but I didn't get around to it.

So, small update. Have been rebuilding another set of suspension outside of the car, so I can just drop it in the same day. I picked up some really nice conditioned strut housings with pretty nice bilstiens. Cleaned them up, sprayed some durable paint on it. And this is how they turned out. I also picked up some hubs with perfect wheel bearings, and I also started to put the brake discs on.

Painted (yes i forgot to mask that last part of the spindle, but I sanded the paint off)

                  Put together kinda.

I also have new strut mounts, and I have KW 60/40 springs on the way and will be arriving tomorrow. I will have the suspension on most likely thursday, if not then the weekend. I was able to build this suspension up for like $300, and all like new parts. Pretty happy.

Also my dad dropped off his 650i for about 2-3 weeks while he is in Jamaica.

hoping to have another update this weekend.

So I finally finished all suspension items.

                      -new CAB's
                      -new control arms
                      -new sway bar links/bushings
                      -new tie rods

For the other items, I have kw 60/40 springs paired with bilstien's. I am very happy with the ride, and ride height. I am thinking about ordering the 60mm rears and pair that with front e90 drop hats. Obviously further down the road.

Since the car was low now, I needed a skid plate. GF bought me one, along with keyless entry

Also shadowlined my car. Looks great :D

Decided to give my car a good paint correction.

Also forgot, finally installed my odo gears. Thank god, I love being able to calculate gas mileage now. I'm sure I am forgetting things.

thanks! it would be much cleaner with nicer rims and things, if only I wasn't going to college.

I am very undecided on rim/tire options at the minute. I am really thinking about dr-20 looking rims or even the look of work equips 1. I love the retro looking rims on the e30.

                            liking this nice clean build!

one little suggestion for you that you might like, re: the black wheels.

they look even better with the centercaps done in black. Just mask off the roundel well and do it...

don't mind the rally tires :)

very easy. just take out the cluster, use a screwdriver and pop off the old glue and front plastic. Mask and paint. I used my GF red nail paint.

Thanks, haha but I have always like the polished cap with black rims. At the minute, I think it would look better polished. The bottlecaps are being used until I need new tires, then I will make a pull on the rims. So I am not very serious about the rims being painted. I kinda wish they were stock color, but the silver was chipping. I feel like a ricer boi with them black.
