Who cares if this is a girl or a guy? We share the same interests, so to add something useful to this thread..

This includes OBD1 headers. They will check the angle at which the o2 sensor is mounted, so I highly recommend using OBD1 headers unless you want to have an entire exhaust welded up only to find out that it won't pass.
Remember, cali-legal 24v swap = +++Resale value. If you don't care about resale value or legality, ignore this post and get some ebay headers.

California legal in an e30 = OBD1. Since an s52 is OBD2, you will either have to disguise it as an s50 and hope the inspection guy doesnt notice the extra 3 o2 sensors, or you can do a complete OBD1 conversion.

I got lucky , when I got this motor it's already converted into obd1. But this is helpful . Thank you!

Jay & John, you might want to reach out to Tim (Philo on the boards) about the headers. He got me a modded OBD-II set to work on my OBD-I M50. Bought, modded and glass-beaded to be purty for $125.00. Not sure if that was a local discount or not, but they're nicely done!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.
