Planning to do a s52 swap into a e30. :p
So here's a sad story, I got my e30 318is around May from CL, and unfortunately there's a warming up problem (it takes about 30mins-hr to warm up
) and : for the past three months my friends and I replace anything you could think of, couldn't figure out the problem. I was fed up , disappointed, ready to sell the car and possibly a e46. But my friends convinced me to do a swap that will save me a tons and a lot more fun, hence I did a little research on my own, and found myself really liking the idea of the s52 in my e30. The swap isn't going to be easy I already know this, but with a help of my friends, and YOU GUYS . I believe this will get done without a problem. With that being said, any question, comments, suggestions, concerns are more than welcome!
Progress 1:Made it home!

Just a little updates on what I picked up today.
So we drove to Sacramento to pick the motor up early in the morning (about 1 and half hour drive) and...
seriously guys this motor is bigger than me! ahhaa.
Danny, the gentleman who I picked up the motor from definitely hooked it up with an ECU, lots of other accessories, helped me secure the motor on the truck (which I don't know anyone that would even bother to do that) and other goodies. He was very kind and professional!I highly recommend him if you live around Sacramento .
You guys will just have to wait to see my bimmer, I will post pictures to update my progress .Promise ;)
so keep supporting and checking back !
Ps. idk if it's just me but people on the forum is a lot more welcoming than bimmerforums? :O
