    AKg all day long.

We use the e36 shields, two of them like butterfly wings to protect them, works out great.

I think I am going AKG also, I have EVERY bushing replaced from them so far.
I have the AKG E30/S50 specific mounts, and my Euro S50 fits like a glove (besides the headers). I'd definitely recommend the AKG stuff.

Hm, maybe if i would wear a nice dress and take pictures with all my parts i would get a 28 pg. thread too! But that might clash with my beard.

JK, nice to see actual progress being made.

This is a problem you will be facing for most of your younger years--attraction-fueled validation. You should thank the people who are honest with you. In my opinion, turquoise looks horrible and doesn't belong on any car any more than hot pink. There are better, more subtle ways of making your car unique.

Got any "after" pics of the bay? Did you mask anything off?
    this.

What's that have to do with anything? If my car had an m20 in it, I sure as hell wouldn't have swapped.

While not a fan of the colored engine bay, I can respect the work going into the car, aslong as you're happy with it, go for it.

^this. She paid Revshift for the mounts 2 weeks ago. She and John are kinda stuck until they get those.

this thread sucks so far, mainly because everyone is talking and theres no updates on the car.

Last I heard she was still waiting for Revshift to ship her the motor mounts, and the hadn't returned any o her communication. Guess I'm going to be using the AKG mounts. I feel bad: I'm the one who recommended she use the Revshift mounts over the E28 ones. :(

Additionally, third gear with a 2.93 is just right for highway action and if you go with shorter gearing it becomes less useful.

qft, 3.46s and my s52 = passengers saying "damn this thing pulls so hard even in 5th."
