Car looks great, let the grumpy haters polish their basketweaves and brag about having a complete tool kit and enjoy the car. You're going to be in the M power club soon anyways!
LOL, Really? I hope you aren't claiming "The M Power Club" with a US-spec S50/S52.
Well... considering the engines power an M car, I would say they are allowed to claim "The M Power Club". You're such an elitist.
People are so easily butthurt. Not an elitist at all. Just raining cold hard facts up in here. The US-spec S5X-engines in the E36 M3 are not BMW M engines. Period.
And sorry, but that line of reasoning makes no sense at all.
People say things like "you're in the M Power club now", and I'M the elitist? LOL. I have Volkswagen seats in my car, for fuck's sake.
How? How are BMW M engines NOT BMW M engines? THAT makes no sense at all. You literally have no possible argument.
The US-spec S50/S52 are NOT true BMW M engines. They were not developed by BMW Motorsport GmbH. They are worked-over versions of the M50/M52 with hotter cams and a few other differences. Same blocks, same heads, same manifolds. The Euro-spec S52 is a true BMW Motorsport-designed and built engine, sharing VERY little in common with the M50/52 that powers the E36/E34 3/5 series cars.
Now I never said there was anything wrong with a US S50/52. I was giving the guy shit because that statement just sounded a little bit ridiculous to me. If you REALLY want to keep arguing this with me though, go for it.
